The popular family fun day donates proceeds to SERT

The Curraghmore Bluebell Festival 2015 took place in Curraghmore Estate, Portlaw on Sunday May 3rd.

A huge success, the day raised much-needed funds towards the running costs of SERT; insurance, vehicle maintenance and vehicle replacement. Attractions on the day included:

• Vintage Teas on the Lawn

• Waterford Hunt on Parade

• Spinner with numerous prizes including a spin in Waterford’s Hot Air Balloon

• Kiddies Activities, Carousel and Amusements

• Dog Show

• Mayfield Birds of Prey

• Tour of Gardens every hour including the Shell House and Jaunting Car Rides.

Musical entertainment included John O Shea DJ, Gerry Walsh, Ben Delaney and friends, Mulcahy/ Bible Irish Dancers and Mcgrath dancers amongst others.

SERT is extremely grateful to its numerous benefactors, including private individuals, fundraising volunteer groups, industry and trade unions. Working within our communities we can, by providing this transport, make a significant impact towards helping cancer patients receive state of the art radiotherapy and improve their outcome.
